In this chapter, you will learn how to add your real estate listings to the page. I have tried to make the listing process as easy as possible. To achieve this, I have kept the listing process similar to Wix’s own CMS collection method. You can add the listings to the website using Wix’s own content management system(CMS).

Good To Know – All your real estate filters on the listing page automatically adopts to various values in the listings. Any new location, number of rooms, price, etc are automatically updated on the filters as you add new listings.

To add your listings to your website, follow these simple steps.

Go to the CMS Collections of your website. In Wix, this can be achieved either by going to the dashboard of your website or directly from your website Editor’s CMS panel. The following video shows the location of the collection.

The collection “Real Estate Listings” has all the listings of your website. This is where you need to add all the listings.

To add a new listing, click on the “Add Item” button. This will open a new listing form. In this form, you can add all the information about your listings.

In the following window, fill out all the information related to the listings. Each field has its help text to help you understand what that particular field represents. The following video shows a demo listing

While almost all fields can hold any value, the “Listing Type” can only have either “Sale” or “Rent”. If any other value is added, the listing will show “Price On Request” instead of the rent or buy price. This is to give the users the freedom to add a quote option without hassle.
